Receiver's Office. Supreme Court House. Vies toria, in the Colony of Hongkong, on the 2nd ! day of June, 1896. it was resolved by Special Resolution of the Creditors present to entertain a proposal for a scheme of arrangement in the following terms :--
That Mr. Robert John Hastings, of Vic- toria, in this Colony, Merchant, be appointed Trustee for the purpose of realising the Estate of the Debtor and distributing the proceeds thereof ae- cording to the laws of bankruptcy: and that Mr. George Weller, an Assistant in the Hongkong & China Gas Compung, Limited, Mr. Joseph Peake Cottam, Storckeeper, and Mr. Herbert Price, att of Victoria afure- said, be appointed Committed of Inspection for the purpose of super- intending the administration of the debtor's property by the Trustee. The Meeting for the purpose of deciding whether the above resolution: shall be con- firmed will be held at the said Official Re- ceiver's Office, on Tuesday, the 7th day of July, 1896, at 12 o'clock noon.
The proposal for a scheme of arrangement can be confirmed only by a majority in num- ber representing three-fourths in value of all the Creditors who have proved and is subject to the approval of the Court.
