CORRECTION PLANS.
CORRECTION Plans for Marine Department Charts Nos. 1 and 2, showing recent soundings on the Tsungming Crossing and the new positions of the aids to navigation as notified in Special Notice to Mariners No. 529, to take effect on or about the 19th May, 1919, are now procurable free on application.

Shanghai District-Yangtze River.
North Channel Entrance-Tsungming Crossing.
ALTERATIONS IN BUOYAGE,
REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 529, notice is hereby given that the following alterations have been made in the buoyage of the Tsungming Crossing, North Channel Entrance to the Yangtze River:-
The Middle Island Buoy has been discontinued.
The East Entrance Buoy has been moved and its navigating colour changed from red to black. From the new position of the Buoy, Liuchiao Beacon bears N. 803 E., distant 156 miles. This Buoy is now moored in 42 feet of water and marks the southern side of the channel in the eastern approach to the Tsungming Crossing.
The Crossing Buoy has been moved and its navigating colour changed from red to black. From the new position of the Buoy, Middle Island Beacon bears S. 243° E., distant 3:38 miles. This Buoy is now moored in 23 feet of water on the southern side of the Tsungming Crossing.
The West Spit Buoy has been moved and is now moored in 40 feet of water. From the new position of the Buoy, Middle Island Beacon bears S. 7210 E., distant 578 miles. The characteristics of this Buoy remain unchanged.
All bearings given are magnetic, and depths are those of low water of extraordinary spring tides.
