New Range Marks Established-Tuburan.
A set of range marks has been established at the beach of Tuburan, western part of Cebu. Front range is a triangular shape point up, 16 feet above ground and about 19 feet above mean high water. Rear range which is about 190 feet apart from the Front one, is a triangular shape point down, 24 feet above ground and about 30 feet above mean high water. Targets are painted white with black vertical stripes thru centers. Marks in range, bearing S. 38° E. true, will lead in clear between reefs to an anchorage of about 11 feet of low water.

New Beacons Established-Asturias.
Marking channel to barrio of Rizal, Asturias, western part of Cebu.
Port Beacon.
Concrete base surmounted by a post carrying two diamond shaped targets at right angles. The targets are 4 feet square painted white with black centers; top of beacon 12 feet above mean high water.
Starboard Beacon.
Concrete base surmounted by a post carrying two diamond shaped targets at right angles. The targets are 4 feet square painted white with red centers; top of beacon 12 feet above mean high water.
Vessels can pass midway between the beacons heading for the barrio of Longob on a course S. 67° E. true.

NOTICE TO MARINERS NO. 542.
New Buoy Established-Refugio Island.
A BLACK can buoy, second class, has been established at the edge of the reef extend- ing north of Refugio Island, north-eastern part of Negros, marking the northern entrance to the town of San Carlos.
Bearings-Refugio lighthouse S. 7° W. true; San Carlos lighthouse S. 73° W. true.
