No. S. 95. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Improvements to Pokfulum Road", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 22nd day of April, 1919, for improvements to Pokfulum Road.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification, and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

Hongkong Eastern Entrance.

THE black and white chequered buoy marking the Bokara Rock has gone adrift. Notice will be given as soon as the buoy is replaced in position.

THE following information has been received from the Java-China-Japan Lijn and is published for general information:-

"Sunken reef discovered North Coast Banka Entrance Klabat Bay. Latitude

S. 1° 28' 50", Longitude E. 105° 35′ 50′′. Draught 18 feet.'
