NOTICE is hereby given that the Dove Rock Whistling Buoy, notified as having broken adrift on the 15th instant, has to-day been replaced by a similar Whistling Buoy.
Buoy bears from Dove Rock S. 76° E. and distant about 1 cables.

NORTH CHANNEL-ENTRANCE TO THE YANGTZE.
Survey of, in progress.
NOTICE is hereby given that while the survey of the North Channel is in progress, WHITE BUOYS will be placed in positions where required as surveying marks and that they must not be taken as having any other significance.
These white buoys, and the aids to navigation may also have black and/or white flags placed upon them as may be necessary.
All existing Aids to Navigation will remain in their present positions and retain their present colours until any proposed change affecting them has been notified.
The Revenue Steamer engaged on the survey will, when running lines of soundings across the Channel, fly the International Code Signal, W K M (Sounding) and Captains of vessels are requested, when possible, to avoid passing ahead of her.
