(1.) Light established-
Position. On the centre of the reef, at a distance of 130 feet North-Eastward of the position formerly occupied by the Black Square Beacon, which has now been removed.
Details:-
Lat. 13° 28' S.; Long. 143° 40' E. on Chart No. 2921.
Character.--Group Flashing White Light, showing a group of three flashes in
quick succession every fifteen seconds, thus:- Flash Eclipse Flash

Elevation.--56 feet.
Visibility.-13 miles.
Power.-1,500 candles.
Structure. Steel skeleton tower, painted red and white, on concrete piers.
Height, 61 feet.
Remarks.-The light will be unwatched.
(2.) Light-Vessel withdrawn----
Position. At a distance of about 8 cables to the westward of Heath Reef.
Lat. 13° 29′ S.; Long. 143° 40' E. on Chart No. 2921.
Description.--A Light-Vessel formerly exhibiting a fixed white light.

WITH reference to Notice No. 21 of 1918, Mariners and others are hereby notified
(a) The Group Flashing White Light is now permanently established. (b) The Black Square Beacon is removed.
Position. Near the middle of the North-East side of the reef, at a distance of 135 feet Westward of the position formerly occupied by the Black Square Beacon, which has now been removed.
