NOTICE is hereby given that the Petition.

Specification, and Declaration required by the above Ordinance have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the said GEORGE WILLIAM NATHANIEL HAM- ILTON, by HENRY HARDNER DENNYS, his duly authorized Agent and Attorney, to apply at the sitting of the Excentive Council here- inafter mentioned for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the said Colony of Hong- kong of the above-named Invention.

And Notice is also hereby given that a Sitting of the Executive Council, before whom the matter of the said Petition will come for decision, will be held in the Council Chamber, at Government Offices. Victoria, Hongkong, on Thursday, the 18th March, 1897, at 10 A.M.

OTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of Hongkong Original Jurisdiction dated the 3rd day of March 1897 confirming the reduction of the Capital of the above-named Company from $150,000 to $50,000 and the Minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the

Capital of the Company as altered the several N day of January, 1897, the CHINA EX-

particulars required by the above Ordinances were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 3rd day of March 1897. And Notice is also given that the said Minute is in the words and figures following:-

"The Capital of the New Balmoral Gold Mining Company Limited is henceforth $125,000 divided into 50,000 Ordinary Shares "of $1 each upon each of which at the date of the registration of this Minute the sum of $1 has been and is to be deemed to be paid
