GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.--No. 558.
Notice is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor will hold a Levee at Government House to-morrow, Thursday, the 8th instant, at 4 o'clock p.m.
Each gentleman is requested to bring with him two cards, with his name distinctly written thereon, to be handed to the Aides-de-Camp in waiting.
The Private Entrée will commence Fifteen minutes before the General Levee; and may be attended by the Members of both Councils; by the Bishops; by the Judges; by the Heads of the Government Departments; by the Consuls-General and Consuls of Foreign Powers; and by Naval and Military Officers of Field, or corresponding rank.
