NOTICE is hereby given that the Petition,
Specification and Declaration required herein by Ordinance No. 2 of 1892 have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secre tary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the said THE PETOLIT FUEL SYNDICATE LIMITED by Messrs. JOHNSON, STOKES AND MASTER, of Victoria, in the Colony of Houg- kong, Solicitors, their duly authorized Agents, to apply at the Sitting of the Executive Coun- cil hereinafter mentioned for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the said Colouy of Hongkong of the above named Invention.
And Notice is hereby also given that a Sitting of the Executive Council before whom the matter of the Petition will come for decision will be held in the Council Chamber at the Government Offices, Victoria, Hongkong, on Wednesday, the 5th day of October, 1898, at 9.45 of the clock in the forenoon.
