NOTICE is hereby given that GUSTAV
DEGENER BÖNING, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, a member of the Firm of CARLOWITZ AND COMPANY, on behalf of him- self, HERMANN CESAR ERDMANN, CHARLES WILHELM BERNHARD VON BOSE, FRIEDRICH CARL PAUL SACHSE and CHARLES ERNEST RAYNER, carrying on business at Victoria aforesaid and elsewhere as Merchants and Commission Agents under the style of CAR- LOWITZ & CO., has, on the 2nd day of March, 1898, applied to His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government of Hongkong, for leave to register a certain Trade Mark in the Register of Trade Marks in the Office of the Colonial Secretary for the Colony of Hong- kong in the name of Messrs. CARLOWITZ AND COMPANY.
The said Trade Mark has been or is intended to be used in respect of Bristles, Essential Oil, Camphor, Camphor Oil, Star Aniseed, Ver- million, Cassia Selected, Cassia Lignea, Broken Cassia Selected. Broken Cassia, Saigon Cassia, Fans, Fire Crackers. Preserves, Soy, Rattan- wares, Paper, Matting, 'ongees, Canes and Gamboge, belonging to or dealt in by the said Firm of CARLOWITZ AND COMPANY.
A Facsimile of the said Trade Mark can be seen on application at the Office of the Colo- nial Secretary for the Calony of Hongkong or to the Undersigned.
