NOTICE is hereby given that the l'etition, Specification and Declaration required by the above-cited Ordinance have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the said Sir JAMES FORTESCUE FLANNERY, and WILLIAM BOYD, by MATTHEW JOHN DENMAN STEPHENS, their duly authorized Agent and Attorney, to apply at the Sitting of the Exe- cutive Council hereinafter mentioned for Let- ters Patent for the Exclusive use within the said Colony of Hongkong of the above named Invention. And notice is hereby also given that a Sitting of the Executive Council before whom the matter of the said Petition will come for decision will be held in the Council Cham- ber at the Government Offices, Victoria, Hong- kong, on Monday, the 8th day of January, 1900, at 11 A.M.
