On the 13th at 11.55 a.- "The barometer has risen on the China coast and over Japan. The depression in the North has passed to the E. of Japan, the China Sea depression seems to be near the Annan coast. There are also indications of the existence of an area of low pressure to the SE of Formosa. Gradients rather steep, with very strong monsoon in the Formosa Channel and N part of the China Sea." Forecast "fresh or strong NE winds; dull, rainy."
On the 14th at 11.55 a.. "The barometer has risen on the China coast and over Japan, fallen in the Philippines. A depression seems to be situated to the E. Luzon, and pressure is highest over the NE coast of China. Gradients moderate on the coast, rather steep with very strong monsoon in the N. part of the China Sca." Forecast :-" strong or fresh NE winds; rainy at first, probably improv- ing later."

The barometer has risen in the Southern Philippines and on the China coast. The depression has entered the China Sea, and appears to be moving in a Westerly direction off the W. coast of Luzon. A high pressure area is central over Mid-China. Gradients steep, with heavy monsoon in the Formosa Channel and N. part of the China Sea." Forecast :-' winds; fair."

On the 16th at 11.55 a.- “The barometer has risen in the Philippines, and is little changed on the China coast. The high pressure area is central over Mid-China, and the depression is probably recurving near Balingtang Channel. Gradients renain steep, with heavy weather in the Formosa Channel and NE part of the China Sea." Forecast :--"fresh N winds; fair."
On the 17th at 11.55 a." The barometer has fallen slightly on the E. coast of China, risen a little in Luzon. The depression seems to be almost stationary near the Balingtang Channel. The high pressure area remains central over Mid-China. Gradients continue steep, with heavy weather in the Formosa Channel and NE part of the China Sea." Forecast:- "fresh N winds; fine."
On the 18th at 11.55 a.--"The barometer has risen slightly at all stations. The depression seems to be filling up to the SE of Formosa. The high pressure area remains central over Mid-China, Gradients moderate to rather steep, with very strong monsoon on the coast and in the N. part of the China Sea." Forecast - -"fresh N winds; fine.”

CONDITIONS OF SALE.
1. The highest bidder above the upset price shall be the Purchaser, and if any dispute arise between two or more bidders, the Lot shall be put up again at a former bidding.
2. No person shall at any bidding advance less than $20.
3. Immediately after the fall of the hammer, the Purchaser shall sign the Menorandum of Agreement, hereinafter contained, for completing the purchase according to these Conditions, and shall, within Three Days of the day of sale, pay into the Colonial Treasury the full amount of Premium at which the Lot shall have been purchased.
