Specification and Declaration required by the above-cited Ordinance have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the said JOSEPH VOGT by MATTHEW JOHN DEN- MAN STEPHENS, his duly authorized Agent and Attorney, to apply at the sitting of the Executive Council hereinafter mentioned for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the said Colony of Hongkong of the above named Invention. And Notice is hereby also given that a Sitting of the Executive Council before whom the matter of the said Petition will come for decision will be held in the Council Chamber, at the Government Offices, Victoria, Hongkong, on Monday, the 30th day of Octo- ber, 1899, at 11 a.m.
