RESOLUTION.

1. That the Capital of the Company be increased to the sum of $600,000 by the issue of 30,000 New Shares of $10 each, which shall be consi- dered part of the Original Capital and be subject to the provisions in the Articles of Association con- tained with reference to calls, trans- fer, transmission, lien, surrender, voting power, and otherwise; and that the Directors be authorised to issue such New Shares at par.

2. That the said New Shares be offered to the person who on the 16th day of September, 1899, shall be regis- tered Members of the existing Shares in the proportion of a New Share for each existing Share held by them.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Petition,

Specification and Declaration required by the above-cited Ordinance have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary of Hongkong, and that it is the intention of the Said WILLARD REED GREEN by MATTHEW JOHN DENMAN STEPHENS, his duly authorized Ageut and Attorney, to apply at the sitting of the Executive Council hereinafter men- tioned for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the said Colony of Hongkong of the above named Invention. And notice is hereby also given that a Sitting of the Executive Council before whom the matter of the said Petition will come for decision will be held in the Council Chamber, at the Government Offices, Victoria, Hongkong, on Monday, the 11th day of September, 1899, at 11 a.u. Dated the 26th day of August, 1899.
