ALTERATION IN CHARACTER OF SHAWEISHAN LIGHT.
Notice is hereby given that the character of the Light at Shaweishan has been changed.

The new Light is Dioptric, Occulting, of the First Order, showing a fixed white light varied by an eclipse every 15 seconds. It is elevated 229 feet above the level of the sea, aud in clear weather should be visible for a distance of 22 nautical
miles.
