Alterations in Aids to Navigation.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 278 (Special), Notice is hereby given that the Aids to Navigation in the North Channel have been altered as follows :-
DRINKWATER POINT GAS-LIGHTED BUor has been replaced in position and now bears S. 87-1 W., distant 12.2 miles from Shaweishan Lighthouse and is moored in 18 feet at Low Water of Spring Tides.
DRINKWATER POINT GASLIGHT VESSEL has been moored in 25 feet at Low Water of Spring Tides and now bears N. 85° W., distant 5 miles from her former position.
The MIDDLE ISLAND UNLIGHTED BUOY has been removed and a GAS-LIGHTED BUOY painted Black, to be known as the MIDDLE ISLAND GAS-LIGHTED BUOY, moored in 52 feet at Low Water of Spring Tides S. 44-3 W., distant 1.5 miles from Liuchiao Lighthouse.
LIUCHIAO LIGHT and the CHIYAO BANK GAS-LIGHTED BUOY have been discontinued.
All bearings given are Magnetic.

NOTICE is hereby given that Speed Notice Boards have been erected on Copper Ore Point, Luff Point, and opposite Ocean Steamers' Wharf, and the Speeds marked thereon must be adhered to.
CAUTION.—The By-laws with reference to Speed in Harbors will in future be strictly
enforced.
This affects Admiralty Charts 2389A and B, 1750 and 1752.
