local emergency or in case of serious local disturbance, may call out, by Proclamation, any volunteer corps or any portion thereof for actual military service, and whereas it is also enacted by the aforesaid section that the period of such service shall continue as long as the Governor may consider necessary and shall end only by order of the Governor.

Now therefore I, the said Governor, do by this Proclamation call out the Armoured Car Company of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps for actual military service until further order.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony, at Victoria, Hong Kong, this 27th day of September, 1931.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, 1922, Ordinance No. 5 of 1922, this 27th day of September, 1931.

Except in so far as any of the Regulations heretofore made under the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, 1922, have been expressly amended or rescinded all such regulations are confirmed and remain in force.
