No. 606.-The following Finding of the Marine Court of Enquiry held on the 22nd September, 1931, to enquire into the circumstances attending the sinking of the British Steamship Kwong Sang, is published for general information.

FINDING.

We find that the S.S. Kwong Sang (Official Number 115883 of Hong Kong), left Shanghai at 4.10 p.m. on August 8th, 1931, on a voyage to Hong Kong.

That on the night of 9th August, 1931, she ran into a Typhoon and at about 8.30 a.m. on August 10th, 1931, sank in the vicinity of Sugar Loaf Island off Fu-ning Bay there being only three survivors.

The Court would express their sincere sympathy to the relatives of those who lost their lives in this disaster.

Given under our hands at Victoria, in the Colony of Hong Kong, this 22nd day of September, 1931.

No. 607.-Take notice that Kowloon Inland Lot No. 1184 is required for a public purpose and will be resumed on the expiration of one month from the date hereof and that thereupon such compensation will be paid as may be awarded in the manner pro- vided by the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900, as amended by the Crown Lands Resumption Amendment Ordinance, 1930, and you are hereby called upon to nominate a member to serve on the Board of Arbitrators to determine the amount of compensation to be paid in respect of such resumption. In the event of your failing to nominate a member to serve on the Board within one week from the date of the expira- tion of this notice then the Chairman of the Board may nominate a member to serve on your behalf.
