The rainfall for the month of July at the Botanical Gardens was 11ins. 94 on 26 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 10ins. 95 on 24 days, at Fanling, 10ins. 28 on 24 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 11ios. ·15 on 23 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 576 at 17h. on the 10th.
The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 40 miles per hour at 10h. 04m. on the 13th.
