2. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 14th May, 1931, were confirmed.

3. The Hon. the Officer Commanding the Troops, (Colonel ROBERT BAXTER COUSENS, D.S.O.), and the Hon. Mr. WILLIAM HENRY BELL, took the Oath of Allegiance and their seats as Members of Council.

Approval by the Governor in Council under section 32 of the Telephone Ordi- nance, 1925, and paragraph Cii of the Schedule to the Telephone Amend- ment Ordinance, 1930.
