No. 298.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. CHARLES GORDON STEWART MACKIE to be tem- porarily an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, vice the flonourable Mr. JOHN OWEN HUGHES, resigned, with effect from the 7th May, 1931.
