No. 155.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to accept the resignation by Second Lieutenant HERBERT ERNEST DUNCAN ADAMS of his Commission in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 26th February, 1931.

No. 156. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to re-appoint, provi- sionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, the Honourable Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, K.C., to be an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council for a further period of five years, with effect from 9th March, 1931.

No. 157.-It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that a Special Criminal Session for the despatch of the business of the Court, shall be held on Monday, the 16th day of March, 1931, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
