Appendix C to the Rules as to the conduct of examinations instituted for persons who wish to procure colonial certificates of competency as masters, mates or engineers in the Mercantile Marine, and as to the qualifications of the applicants, made by the Governor in Council under section 4 (8) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 10 of 1899, on the 26th day of November, 1930, and set forth in Govern- ment Notification No. 770 published in the Gazette of the 24th December, 1930, is hereby amended by the substitution of the figure "3" for the word "a" in the line, under the sub-heading "First Mate (foreign-going)", which appears in the said Notifica- tion as,-
