COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 32. It is hereby notified for general information that notice was given to the Government of Turkey on the 3rd of September, 1930, after the exchange at Angora. on that day of ratifications of the Anglo-Turkish Commercial Treaty, of the desire of His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom that the stipulations of that Treaty should apply to the territory under the administration of the Government of Hong Kong.. In accordance with Article 37 of the Treaty, therefore, its provisions apply to this Colony. from the 3rd of September last.

A copy of the Treaty, and also, in connection with Article 20 of the Treaty, a copy of the text of a Convention between His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and Turkey respecting Commercial Travellers and Samples, which was signed at Angora. on the 15th of January, 1929, may be inspected at the Colonial Secretary's Office.
