No. 591. His Excellency the Governor has given his assent, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty the KING, to the following Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council:-

Ordinance No. 23 of 1919.—An Ordinance to repeal the Military Service Ordi- nance, 1917, and the General Military Service Ordinance, 1918.

Short title.

Repeal of Ordinances No..19 of 1917 and No. 9 of 1918.

An Ordinance to repeal the Military Service Ordinance, 1917, and the General Military Service Ordinance, 1918.

[24th December, 1919.]

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Military Ser- vice Repeal Ordinance, 1919.

2. The Military Service Ordinance, 1917, and the General Military Service Ordinance, 1918, are hereby repealed.

Passed the Legislative Council of Hongkong, this 23rd day of December, 1919.
