NOTICE is hereby given that The Garlock

Packing Company a Corporation organiz- ed under the laws of tho State of New York,

in the United States of America, located and

doing business at No. 50, Main Street, Palmyra, in the County of Wayne, State of New York, U.S.A., Manufacturers, have on the 5th day of April, 1929, applied for registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark :--

GARLOCK

in the name of The Garlock Packing Company, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark has been used by the Ap- plicants, and their predecessors since the year 1883, in respect of the following goods:—

Packing, in Class 50 (Sub-class 9).

The said Trade Mark bas been declared to

be distinctive by Order of His Excellency the

Governor under Section 9 (5) of the Trade

Marks Ordinance, 1909.

The Trade Marks are intended to be used by the Applicants forthwith, in respect of the following goods :-

The words "Po Sum On" and “ the Chinese

Characters (保心安) appearing on

the said mark have been declared to be distinc- tive by Order of His Excellency the Governor under Section 9 (5) of the Trade Marks Ordin- ance 1909.

at the Offices of the Registrar of Trade Marks

of Hong Kong and of the undersigned.
