No. S. 313. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should. be clearly marked "Tender for Quarry", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 25th day of August, 1930, for occupation for a period ending 31st December, 1931, from the date of notification of acceptance of tender of the piece or parcel of ground at Shaukiwan Road, containing about 22 acres, as shown coloured red on plan, signed by the Director of Public Works and dated the 15th July, 1930, at an upset annual fee of $1,500 but subject to certain conditions which can be ascertained at the office of the Director of Public Works.

Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that Tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury a sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona files of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the Tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the conditions, should the tender be accepted.

Form of tender and further particulars can be obtained from the office of the Director of Public Works.

The Government does not biud itself to accept the highest or any teu ler.
