No. S. 314.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate which should be clearly marked "Tenders for slipping and stripping for examination No. 1 Police Launch", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon on Friday, August 22nd, 1930.
The launch is to be dry docked, boiler lifted out and sheathing stripped com- pletely. All parts removed are to be replaced in good order and condition.
Full details of work required may be obtained from the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor, Yaumati Government Slipway.
The tenders should state the approximate time required to complete the work.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 297.-1t is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should. be clearly marked "Tender for Widening of Gough Hill Road", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of August, 1930. The work comprises the widening of Gongh Hill Road to 10 feet, surfacing an area adjacent to Lysholt and the provision of all necessary retaining walls, drainage and other contin- gent work.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
