The Council met pursuant to summons.

The Minutes of the last Meeting, held on the 12th June, 1919, were confirmed.

TRADING WITH THE ENEMY AMENDMENT BILL.The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled An Ordinance to amend further the Trading with the Enemy Ordinances, 1914 to 1916.

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Question-put and agreed to.

Bill read a first time.

The Attorney General moved the suspension of the Standing Orders so that the Bill might be passed through all its stages at that meeting of the Council.

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Question-put and agreed to.

The Attorney General then moved the Second reading of the Bill.

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Mr. ALABASTER and His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government addressed the Council.
