No. 248. The Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty have approved of the promotion of Commander BASIL REGINALD HAMILTON TAYLOUR, R.N., to the rank of Captain (Emergency) as from the 11th November, 1918, in recognition of services rendered during the War.

No. 249.—The undermentioned ports of the Colony are hereby specified by His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government under section 44 of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, as the ports into which dutiable and denatured spirits may be imported and exported---

1. Victoria Harbour as defined by the Interpretation Ordinance, 1911, Ordi-

nance No. 31 of 1911.

2. Tai O in the Island of Lantao in the New Territories.

The definitions of the ports for the purposes above mentioned published in the Gazette on the 17th day of September, 1909, as Notifications Nos. 577 and 578, and on the 29th day of October, 1909, as Notification No. 683, and also published on page 290 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1914, are hereby repealed.
