HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 82.-Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :----

On Saturday, the 2nd February:-

From Stonecutters, in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,

commencing at 11 a.m. and 3.30 p.m., and finishing at 5.30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the 5th February:--

From Devil's Peak and Lyemun, in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards, commencing at 10.30 a.m., and finishing at 12.30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the 6th February :-

From Lyemun S. Dt., in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to 6,000

yards, commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Thursday, the 7th February, as above if not carried out on the 6th.

On Thursday, the 7th February:

From Pinewood and Belcher, in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to

10,000 yards, commencing at 9 a m., and finishing at 1

On Saturday, the 9th February:---

From Lyemun S. Dt., in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to 6,000

yards, commencing at 9 a.m., and finishing at 1 p.m.

On Monday, the 11th February :-

From Kowloon East, in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards,

commencing at 12 noon, and finishing at 9 p.m.

From Lyemun S. Dt., in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards,

commencing at 3 p.m., and finishing at 9 p.m.

From Lyemun S. Dt., in an Easterly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,

commencing at 6.30 p..m., and finishing at 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, the 13th February: -

From Belcher and Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000

yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12.30 p.m.

On Friday, the 15th February:--

From Belcher F.C., in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 10,000

yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.

On Tuesday, the 19th February:-

From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards, com-

mencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Monday, the 25th February, as on the 6th if not fired on that night.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the 26th and 27th February:

From Belcher, in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 12,000 yards,

commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12.30 p.m.

If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
