No. S. 108.-Tenders are invited for the supply of one wood twin screw motor launch for the Import and Export Department.

Modifications of these dimensions may be made to suit Builders' requirements in respect of speed and stability.
The launch is intended for service outside smooth water limits.
To have a double teakwood skin, steamed frames, copper and yellow metal fasten- ings throughout, and muntz metal sheathing of 3" above the load water line.
A petrol driven dynamo to be installed for the supply of power to searchlight, electric lighting and accumulator charging.
A speed of 16 knots to be guaranteed.
The launch when handed over to be completed in every respect and ready for service.
Three complete sets of finished plans to be supplied with the launch.
A plan of the proposed launch may be seen at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.
The hull, machinery, and equipment to be of first class materials and workmanship to the entire satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor.
Tenders to state earliest date of delivery.
Cost not to exceed $53,000 Hong Kong currency.
Tenders in quintuplicate with full specifications and detail plans will be received at the Office of the Colonial Secretary up to Noon of Friday, the 11th day of July, 1930.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
