HARBOUR DEPARTMENT,
No. S. 41.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tenders for the conversion of Commercial Moorings", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noou of Friday, the 7th day of February,
1930.
The work in connection with the conversion of the Commercial Moorings consists of the following:--
1. To Supply and fixing 2 Concrete Block Moorings. 2. To Supply of 6 B Class Concrete Block Moorings.
3. (a). To lift and relay 14 A Class Moorings.
(b). To lift and relay 4 B Class Moorings. (c). To lift and relay 3 C Class Moorings.
(d). To lift and relay 9 B Class Chain Moorings.
(e). To lift and relay 3 C Class Chain Moorings.
(f). To lift and trausport to Dock 10 C Class Moorings.
(g). To supply 3 30-ton Concrete Blocks and 3" Shackle, connect up etc. The exact number required is unknown at present, but will not exceed 3.
4. To supply 8 A Class Mooring buoys.
Full details may be obtained at the Harbour Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work is to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Harbour Master.

PUBLIC WORKS DepartmENT.
No. S. 42 It is hereby notified that scaled tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Filling in Areas at Ma Tau Kok ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 11th day of February, 1930, for filling in areas adjacent Hong Kong Rope Factory and Government Slaughter House with material to be obtained from sites as pointed out, all necessary drainage and any other contingent works.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
