EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 78.

Regulations made by the Officer Administering the Government in Council under Section 95 (e) of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 9 of 1911, this 20th day of February, 1919.

The regulations made by the Governor in Council under Section 95 (e) of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1911, under the heading "Distilleries" published on pages 299 to 301 of the Regulations of Hongkong, 1914, are hereby amended by numbering regulation "4" of the said regulations as "4 (1)" and by adding after the regulation 4 (1) the following regulation :-

"4. (2.) Subject as hereinafter provided such foil and counterfoil duly filled in and signed shall be deemed to be a valid removal permit as required by section 60 of the Ordinance except in the case of liquor removed for export or to a general bonded or licensed warehouse: Provided that the licensee shall pay to the Superintendent at times appointed by him all duties payable in respect of liquor removed under this Regulation. Provided further that the provisions of this sub-regulation shall not apply to any distillery the licensee of which has been notified to the contrary in writing by the Superintendent."

No. 79. In accordance with Government Notification No. 432 of 1st November, 1918, it is hereby notified that the Officer Administering the Government in Council is satisfied that the following Societies have ceased to exist :-

Sport (Chinese).

Vanguard Club (T) (previously gazetted as Vanguard Tennis Club).

District Societies (Chinese).

Pat Yap Flood Relief Association in Hongkong (香港籌賬八邑公所)

Miscellaneous.

Office and Information Bureau of the Chinese American Citizens Alliance of

the United States 美洲土生同源總會駐港辦事處).

No. 80.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. OCTAVIUS FRANCIS LUBATTI to act as Government Analyst during the absence on leave of Mr. ERNEST ROADLEY DOVEY or until further notice, with effect from the 30th January, 1919.

No. 81.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Dr. CHARLES WILLIAM MCKENNY to act as Principal Civil Medical Officer during the absence on leave of Dr. JoHN TAYLOR CONnell Johnson or until further notice, with effect from the 8th February, 1919.
