The rainfall for the month of January at the Botanical Gardens was 0 in. 85 on. 11 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 0 in. 69 on 12 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 0 in. 72 on 9 days.
The relative humidity was the highest on record except in 1887 and 1901 when it was 82% and 83% respectively. The amount of cloud has been exceeded on three occasions. It was 90% in 1887, 86% in 1889, and 91% in 1912. In these years the amount of sunshine was. 78.8 h., 77′0 h., and 39′4 h. respectively.

No. 75.—It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinances, 1899-1913, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that no sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held in the month of February, 1919.
