No. 41.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to recognise Mr. EDMUNDO MOLINO as Consul for Panama in Ilongkong.

No. 42. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Dr. HAROLD MACFARLANE to act as Principal Civil Medical Officer during the absence on leave of Dr. JOHN TAYLOR CONNELL JOHNSON or until further notice, with effect from the 24th January, 1919.

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 19 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, Mr. JOHN REYNOLDS temporarily to be a Sani- tary Inspector, with effect from the 17th January, 1919.
