His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 10 of the Medical Registration Ordi- nance, 1884, Ordinance No. 1 of 1884, Mr. HERBERT Johnson Gedge to be a Member of the Medical Board, vice Mr. HERBERT WILLIAM LOOKER resigned, with effect from the 10th December, 1918.

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, under the provisions of Section 19 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, Sergeant HARRY EDWARD STRANGE, R.A.M.C., temporarily to be a Sanitary Inspector, with effect from the 23rd December, 1918.

Second Lieutenants W. BROWN, D. TEMPLETON, F. H. THOMAS, R. SUTHERLAND,
W. J. HILL, G. E. MARLEY, and F. C. HALL to be Lieutenants.
These promotions are made subject to the passing of the prescribed examinations.
