9. Section 204 of the principal Ordinance is Amendment amended as follows:-

(a) by the substitution of the word "certified
for the word " reported" in the third line thereof;
(b) by the insertion of the words "and is struc- turally safe" after the word, "Ordinance,"
in the sixth line thereof;
(e) by the substitution of the words

10. Section 210 of the principal Ordinance is of Ordinance amended by adding the following paragraph at end thereof:

11. Section 222 of the principal Ordinance is Amendment amended as follows:-
(a) by the substitution in the last line of sub- section (1) (a) of the words one thousand” for the words one hundred"
(7) by the substitution in the last line but one of sub-section (5) of the word "thousand" for the word "hundred";
(c) by the substitution in the last line of sub- section (7) of the word "thousand' for the word "hundred ”.

12. Sub-section (1) of section 229 of the principal Amendment Ordinance is amended by inserting the words "this No. 1 of Part of" before the words "this Ordinance" wherever 1903, the latter words occur in that sub-section.
13. The following section is inserted in principal Ordinance immediately after section

268A. No legal liability whatever shall No. 1 of rest upon the Government or upon any Government officer by reason of the fact that any buildings or works other than Government buildings or works have been or may hereafter be erected or carried out upon designs or plans or of type, con- struction or materials consented to or approved of by the Government or by any Government officer or by reason of the fact that any such works or buildings are subject to the approval or inspection of any Government officer.
Objects and Reasons.
1. The general object of this Ordinance is to make certain further amendments in the principal Ordi- nance, i.e. the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, which seem desirable.
