It is hereby notified that ANTONIO PAULO GUTERRES, First Clerk, Mercan- tile Marine Office, Harbour Department, has been suspended from the exercise of his office for corrupt practices, with effect from the 24th instant, pending the decision of the Secretary of State for the Colonies regarding his dismissal from the Government Service.

JAMES KENYON AND SON, carrying on busi- ness at Bury in the County of Lancaster, England, and elsewhere as Cotton Spinners and Manufacturers, have complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 20 of 1907, as applied to Cotton piece goods of all kinds, in Class 24; and that the same has been duly registered.
