Vessels detained at river mouth and passengers and crew vaccinated unless they can produce evidence of successful recent vaccination.

No. S. 31.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Concrete Sleepers for the Kowloon-Canton Railway will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 13th day of February, 1928.
The prices quoted to include free delivery at the Railway Yard at Kowloon.
No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender, if accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
For further information, apply to the Office of Manager at Kowloon, where forms of tenders may be obtained.

No. S. 32. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for New Reception Block, Victoria Gaol", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 20th day of February, 1928. The work consists of demolishing certain buildings and erecting a new Reception Block.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
