4. General Directions -Approaching or leaving Singapore.

(a) All vessels are warned that when approaching or leaving Singapore from the east, they must keep southwards of the line joining Johore Shoal buoy--south point of the Pulo Sakijang Bendera-Raffles Light.

(b) Vessels approaching or leaving Singapore from the west must keep southwards of a line joining Tangjang Piai-Sultan Shoal-No. 2 Beacon.

(c) The entrance to the Examination Anchorage is through Selat Sinki and all other Entrances are prohibited and dangerous owing to defensive minefields.

PROPOSED TERMS OF THE GRANT OF THE EXTENSION.

1. In consideration of payment of the premium and upon completion of the reclama- tion of the above lot to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works, it is proposed to grant a Crown Lease of the whole area coloured red on the said plan and having a total area of 1,810 square feet for a term of 75 years, commencing from the 16th August, 1940, renewable for a further term of 75 years at a re-assessed Crown Rent. The amounts of the premium and Crown Rent are subject to re-adjustment when the reclamation has been completed in accordance with the area actually occupied.
