No. S. 567.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for K.L.L. 3394-Forming Access Roads", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 16th December, 1940. The contract comprises the supply of all plant, materials and labour for carrying out the construction of access roads to K.I.L. 3391 from Ma Tau Wai Road and Arygle Street and includes all necessary excavation, filling, surface drainage, surfacing and contingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $4,000 with the Accountant-General.,
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. 8. 568-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Hok Un Quarry", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 16th day of December, 1940, for the work of completing site formation, erection of buildings and contingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $5,000 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.·
