NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 18th: November, 1940:-
(a) Heavy gun firing practice will be carried out by Royal Navy from H.M.S.
Robin" between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

Firing Area "A" will be affected.
(b) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00 mid-
night.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
2. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 19th November, 1940:-
(a) Heavy gun practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

Firing Areas "A" and "B" will be affected.
(b) Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice will be carried out in the north-eastern
area of the Island between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00
p.m. and 12.00 midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and E" will be affected.
3. Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice will be carried out in the north-eastern area of the Island between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. on the 20th November, 1940.
4. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 21st November, 1940:-
(a) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
from positions on the Island.

5. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 22nd November, 1940:
(a) Heavy gun firing practice between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00
p.m.
Firing Areas "C" and "D" will be affected.
Alternative date-24th November, 1940.
(b) Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice will be carried out in the north-eastern
area of the Island between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
(c) Light gun firing practice between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 12.00
midnight.
Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.
