3. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 6th November, 1940-

Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice in the Southern Area of the Island

between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m..

Firing Areas "C" and D" will be affected.

4. Firing practice, as under, is notified for 7th November, 1940:-

Heavy gun Anti-Aircraft practice in the Southern Area of the Island

between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

Firing Areas “C” and D" will be affected.

5. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and

12.00 midnight from 4th to 8th November, 1940.

Firing Areas "D" and "E" will be affected.

6. In accordance with sub-section of section of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, musters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing areas affected or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

Position.-Lat. 1° 15′ 45′′ N., long. 103° 50′ 45′′ E. (approx.).

Details. The Red flashing light on the end of the Sunken Hulks is being removed.

Remarks.-The light will not be re-established without further notice.
