No. S. 507. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked Tender for A.R.P. Report Centre at Hung Hom Police Station", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 4th day of November, 1940. The work consists of the erection of an A.R.P. Report Centre at Hung Hom Police Station of brick and concrete construction.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $1,000 with the Accountant-General which will be held as security for six months after completion of
the works.
Any tenderer may be required as a con-lition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply fall particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 508.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Public Latrine, Yu Chau Street Kowloon", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 4th day of Novem- ber, 1940. The work consists of the erection of a public flush latrine constructed of reinforced concrete and brickwork.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
