PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. 8. 433.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Piling of foundations for the Eastern Fire Station ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 23rd day of September, 1940. The work consists of driving of piles and pile caps.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

The work consists of the erection of a four storey brick and reinforced concrete building.
