SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO SERIAL No. 2.
1. The garage shall be permanently ventilated.
2. The garage shall be kept clean, free from combustible lumber and free from oily waste, etc., such as may cause spontaneous ignition.
3. The garage shall not be used for any domestic purpose whatsoever.
4. No artificial lighting other than incandescent electric lamps shall be used in the garage. The wiring to all such lamps not fixed close to the ceiling or a wall shall be encased in iron piping so as to fix the lamps rigid and not lower than 7 feet from the floor. All lamps shall be protected by strong glass shades which completely cover the lamp bulbs.
5. No stove, forge, open fire or naked flame shall be used in the garage.
6. No petrol or oils shall be stored in the garage.
7. "No Smoking" notices in 7" block capitals in English and Chinese shall be painted in conspicuous positions on the walls of the garage.
8. One foam fire extinguisher of two gallons capacity or one dry powder fire extin- guisher of 200 cubic inches capacity and of approved make, and two buckets of sand each of three gallons capacity, are required to be provided and kept on wall brackets fixed about 12 inches above floor level near the entrance of the garage.
