by virtue of Section 58 of the Probates Ordinance 1897, made an Order limiting the time for creditors and others to send in their claims against the above estate to the 14th day of September, 1940.

All creditors and others are accordingly hereby required to send their claims to the undersigned on or before that date.

IN pursuance of Section 3 of the Fraudulent

Transfer of Business Ordinance No. 25 of 1923, Notice is hereby given that Chiu

Chiu Ting() and Chiu Kong (I) both of No. 313 Des Vœux Road Central, Ground floor, Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong carrying on business as Con- fectioners & Grocers under the style or firm name of Hing Cheong Company 公司)

at No. 313 Des Voeux Road Central Ground floor Victoria aforesaid (hereinafter called "the Transferors" have transferred the said business of the said Hing Cheong Company together with its goodwill, stock-in- trade, furniture, fixtures, chattels and effects

to Chan Shau Him (B) of No. 228 Nathan Road Ground floor, Kowloon, Hong Kong (hereinafter called "the Transferee").

The Transferee intends to carry on the said business at the said address, No. 313 Des Voux Road Central, Ground floor aforesaid and will not assume the liabilities incurred by the Transferors in connection with the said business.

A trade mark almost identical with the trade mark it is now sought to register as mentioned in the firm's application in respect of Chinese Medicinal Preparations in Class 3 has been used by the said Wong Kon Nam Drug Store for over thirty years. The only difference is that a photograph of Wong Kon Nam has replaced a globe of the world other- wise the outlay and design of the trade mark is identical.

The registration of this trade mark shall give no right to the exclusive use of all the Chinese characters appearing thereon.
