2. Light Vessels.
(a) Position.-Lat. 6° 44′ 30′′ S., long. 112° 46′ 30′′ E.
Details. A Light Vessel exhibiting a flashing light of three seconds duration every eighteen seconds, and having a visibility of ten miles, will be anchored in the above position.
Abridged Description -Fl. ev. 18 sec. vis. 10 M.
(b) Position.-Lat. 6° 49' 48" S., long. 112° 50′ 42′′ E.
Details. The Pilot Light Vessel will be moved to the above position, and named "Tandjong Modoeng", and will exhibit a flashing light of six seconds duration every eighteen seconds with a visibility of twelve miles.

3. Sailing Directions.
Vessels bound for Sourabaya through the Western Entrance.
(a) Vessels approaching from the Westwards must not come south of
latitude 6° 44′ 30′′ S. until “Tandjong Modeong" bears 180°. (b) They must approach "Tandjong Modoeng" on a line of bearing between 180° and 215°, and anchor within a radius of one mile in the quadrant formed by the Light Vessel bearing 180° and 270°.
Vessels bound for Sourabaya through the Eastern Entrance.
(a) Vessels approaching from the Eastwards must anchor within a radius of one mile from "Tandjong Modoeng" in the semi- circle formed by the Light Vessels bearing 225° through South to 045°, and await the Examination Officer and Pilot.
