OTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong dated the 14th day of June, 1940, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above named Company from $2,000,000 to $1,600,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the Company as altered the several particulars required by the above Ordinance were registered with the Re- gistrar of Companies on the 17th day of June 1940. And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:---- The Capital of Hongkong Estates Limited henceforth is $1,600,000 divided into 6,000 Preference shares of $100 each and 10,000 Ordinary shares of $100 each reduced from $2,000,000 divided into 10,000 Preference shares of $100 each and 10,000 Ordinary shares of $100 each by extinguishing 4,000 of the said Preference shares. At the time of the registration of this minute 1,000 of the Preference shares numbered 4,001 to 5,000 are issued and each of them is to be deemed to be fully paid up and to rank pari passu in all respects with the Ordinary shares of the Company and 2,000 of the Ordinary shares are issued and each of them

is to be deemed to be fully paid up".
